The DM5.0s has built a reputation to be great sounding and reliable all-round microphone. It is used on-stage and in studios around the world by demanding performers and presenters.
The new DM5.0sj is the same great DM5.0s mic - but is now supplied with an XLR - 6.3mm (1/4”) unbalanced cable. This allows it to be easily connected to ‘domestic’ products such as entertainment amplifiers, guitar amps and budget audio recorders.

The versatile dynamic DM series mic capsule makes a mic that is great for any occasion.
Drums, guitars, brass and vocals – a DM mic does the job! In addition it is made to cut through the mix for detailed live vocal performance. High SPL capabilities combined with a super cardioid pickup pattern means the microphone can produce high gain before feedback and a high signal to noise ratio.
The DM series also feature an on/off switch (excluding DM5.0Pro) which has been specifically designed to ensure silent switching during performance.
OFF AXIS REJECTION
DM mics have been designed for on stage applications where ‘off axis’ rejection is a big advantage. More input with less risk of feedback.
